The presence of Satanism in Italy has been indirectly allowed by a sentence of the Constitutional Court, that, in the year 1981, declared constitutionally illicit the crime of reduction in slavery, by the means of psychological subornation (plagiarism). As a consequence, in Italy the fact of founding a Satanic sect is not illegal in itself. About that, I promise a future deepening of the decisive role of a part of the judiciary, especially during the Years of Lead. Back to the development of Satanism in Italy, I’ve found reliable studies, coming from some universities, and now I can list the main Satanic sects as follows: the Children of Satan, born in Bologna; the Churches of Satan, grown up in Turin; the Confraternity of Lucifer, founded in Rome; the Satanic Circle, originated in Bassano del Grappa; the Sorority of Ishtar, based in Pescara; the Beasts of Satan, started in Varese, and operating across a large territory of northern Italy. The judiciary investigations against the crimes committed by Satanic sects have begun in the 90’s, and have examined various dozens of killings. The province of Pavia has often been interested by Satanic activities, and public opinion has been informed of the facts since the year 1996.
Chiara Poggi, a girl aged 26 and living in Garlasco, a village near Pavia, was killed on August 13, 2007, with a violent hit on the head. For the murder, Alberto Stasi, her fiancée, has been definitely sentenced to 16 years of prison. Nevertheless, the chief prosecutor of Pavia, Dr. Fabio Napoleone, in March 2025, has reopened the case of the death of Chiara Poggi. Many sources have declared that there’s a new direction in investigations. Before coming to a conclusion, and referring a worry of mine, I describe the elements that seem to confirm the presence of Satanic activities into the murder of Garlasco:
- The day of the death is symbolic, given that August 13 is dedicated to the feast of Hecate;
- The two female lawyers of Mr. Stasi, Mrs. Giada Boccellari and Mrs. Laura Ponciroli, have obtained the partial recovery of the deleted files from a pen drive, belonging to Chiara Poggi; the recovered files show that Ms. Poggi was collecting information in the matter of Satanism; perhaps, among the lost files, there was something to explain the motive for the crime;
- Dr. Francesco Caringella, a judge of the administrative jurisdiction and a former police investigator, has written a book, whose title is “The Summer of Garlasco”;
- Mr. Luigi Grimaldi, an experienced professional journalist, has opened a YouTube channel, largely dedicated to the Satanism present into the killing of Ms. Poggi;
- Mr. Gabriele Moroni, another professional journalist, has written a short novel, titled “Sects and Psycho-Sects”, about Satanic activities in the province of Pavia;
- Mr. Claudio Croce, a writer, has written the book “The Thirteenth Moon”, again about Satanic activities in the province of Pavia;
- The earliest judicial investigation against Satanic crimes in Pavia dates back to 2008, and has been about the death of the entrepreneur Mr. Fabio Rapalli, killed in 1998; despite of the absence of a true incrimination, it was possible to prove the presence in Pavia of the Beasts of Satan;
- After the murder of Ms. Poggi, in Garlasco there were a series of inexplicable suicides, from 2008 to 2016; I’ve found information about 7 suicides, but some press articles have talked about a number of 8 suicides; I suspect that there’s an attempt of extending the investigations to the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Bozzola, and to the drug rehabilitation community, managed by a Catholic organization;
- In the province of Pavia, there are 10 Masonic lodges, and in Pavia there are 2 Masonic temples, founded on April 14, 2019; to my readers, I remember that Freemasonry and Nazi-Fascism are incompatible, while Freemasonry and Satanism are strict friends;
- Mr. Eros Monterosso is a former member of the Beasts of Satan, who entirely expiated a judicial condemnation, repented, and today works at the Tribunal of Pavia.
In conclusion, I think that, apparently, there are elements to attribute the murder of Ms. Chiara Poggi to Satanism, into which the motive of the murder, still unknown, might be found. Today, the province of Pavia appears as one of the territories of Italy where Satanic activities are most present, even if no official mass media has deepened that. According to my readings, the new suspect of the murder of Ms. Poggi has declared to have friends among politicians, powerful enough to influence national press. For that and for other rumors, I fear there might be another attempt to defame Catholic Church, similar to the one associated to the death of Emanuela Orlandi, and failed despite of more than 40 years of stubborn propaganda. Coming to music, the mix of the page is something that I’ve never heard before, consisting of a fluid program of classic heavy metal, at the average rhythm of 320 BPM. Of course, it is very suitable to the murder and the suicides of Garlasco.
