A tedious, old, and mandatory song, can you at least remix it?

This page is based on a metaphor, according to which, for common citizens and entrepreneurs, the constitution of Italy is like a tedious, old, and mandatory song, lightly modifiable exclusively with an agreement formally approved by the vast majority of political bureaucrats, of course for the exclusive interest of those bureaucrats, and of a part of career bureaucrats. For that, Italy is a fake democracy, where all public powers are reserved to professional bureaucrats, political or career, without any legal possibility of influencing their activities for the other Italians. Given that, since the late 70’s, a large part of the press is under a strict control of political left, scandals driven by judicial investigations are the main road for obtaining a composition of the internal conflicts among the bureaucratic castes. More in detail, starting from the 80’s, in Italy, a false commonplace has prevailed, according to which political left has a moral superiority, and political crimes always come from center-right parties. Now, a short summary of the most relevant of political scandals. In the early 90’s, the so called “Tangentopoli”, happened in Milan, was a stratagem useful to defame some political parties and some politicians, in order to let the former communist party, that was simply renamed without changing anything else, access to the government of the country, independently from popular consensus. In reality, the crimes, on which “Tangentopoli” was founded, were a little number of minor episodes of corruption, not able to raise a social alarm.

How things are changed about bureaucracies? Well, nothing has changed, except for a continuous worsening of what is described above, simply depending on passing time. Now you’re ready for a better understanding of the news. Italian press, and a part of international press have reported some information in the matter of a new scandal in Milan, emerged in July 2025 and involving the leftist municipal administration, presided by the mayor Mr. Beppe Sala. According to the explanations coming from the office of public accusation, in Milan the entire building sector is controlled by local politicians and career bureaucrats, who allow any project after a corruptive pact, in which some not-transparent enterprises are the key to mask corruption, and let it resemble to valid contracts of intellectual collaboration. With other words, it’s something systematic, and able to raise a big social alarm. Evidently, the situation of today is far worse than the one of “Tangentopoli”, even if the majority of press is doing everything to minimize the worrying facts. Moreover, given that there are judiciary controls over investigating judges, and that political left is exerting a notable control over the majority of judicial power, some judges are clearly attempting to stop the investigation of the above. Apart from intentionally confused press articles, what’s really up in Milan? There’s only a logical answer, it’s an internal conflict among local political parties, belonging to the center-left, in the matter of the hidden criteria on the distribution of the fruits of corruption.

The situation of Milan is perfectly adherent to the tedious, old, mandatory song, the one that’s practically impossible to substitute. Despite, in the 50’s and in the 60’s there was the economic boom of the country. How was it possible? Can someone repeat the praxes of those lucky decades? I think that the economic boom was provoked by a violent conflict about the two major parties, Christian democrats and communists, that paralyzed the application of large parts of the constitution. Back to the metaphor, it was like a remix of the old song. The remix was chiefly performed by Mr. Giulio Andreotti, who, unfortunately, is dead, and hasn’t left any political heir. Despite, I’m optimist, other remixes are feasible, possibly inspired by the interests of national economy. As a web DJ, I’ve done a similar thing, which is recording the mix of the page, chiefly based on remixes of old, popular Italian songs.

File name is “for those about to remix Italy, by Max Look DJ (Sept 2025)”, about 1 hour and 21’ of musical attempts to refresh and make old Italian songs more danceable.
